True North Technology Inc., a Canadian manufacturers’ rep firm, has been
providing sales and marketing services for manufacturers of data
communication products since 1987. We have specialized in physical layer
data communications products: copper communication cables and
connectivity, fiber optic cables and connectivity, wireless RF, RFID and
Free Space Optics and accessories. We focus on both the industrial
markets and service provider markets. We have experience in developing
new markets and have done so with fiber optics cable and
connectivity which we began to sell in 1989 and wireless LAN
products which we sold from 1998 to 2003. We have taken existing
markets and increased market share. We have always prided ourselves in
being more than your regular manufacturers’ rep firm by offering and
providing additional services. We do what needs to be done to be
successful and we always re-invest in the company to ensure that our
principals are getting the best Manufacturers’ Rep service in Canada, in
all provinces.

True
North Technology Inc. has its head office in Mississauga Ontario, a
suburb of Toronto the largest Canadian city. An office in Montreal
Quebec is presently vacant and is expected to be filled in 2006.
The partners in the firm, Norm Baldoni and Marvin Strauch each have over
25 years experience in the sales, sales management and marketing. Each
partner is active with their own customers and territory
responsibilities. Norm Baldoni, who is fluent in French, is responsible
for accounts in Ontario, Western Canada and Quebec. Marvin Strauch looks
after accounts in Ontario and the Atlantic provinces.
Nickole Reid, our customer service rep, has been with the company for 5
years and supplements the manufacturers’ customer service functions as
well as providing outbound phone marketing, quote follow up, data base
maintenance and development and appointment setting for the sales force.
Vivienne Fernicola, our office administrator, has been with the company
since 1988. She provides data base entry functions, general office
administration and acts as a back up to Nickole Reid.
Our accounting and IT, including Website development and maintenance,
are outsourced minimizing overhead expense.
We have developed and maintain a large vertical segregated customer
data base using GoldMine Database Management Software. The data base
is used regularly to promote, on a direct touch basis and on an indirect
touch basis, the products we represent. We also use RPMS (Rep Management
Software) for sales statistical and commission tracking purposes.

get the job done in a professional manner, a wealth of important
relationships and our many years of experience that allow to hit the
ground running producing results quickly.
